CLAP Dubai is an award-winning Japanese fusion restaurant located on the rooftop of Gate Village Building 11 in DIFC. As the only rooftop dining destination in the area, CLAP offers a multi-sensory experience that blends bold flavors, eclectic design, and vibrant energy—all curated to surprise and delight.
Originally launched in Beirut, CLAP has expanded to Dubai, Riyadh, London, and Ibiza, earning accolades including a Michelin Guide listing and a one-toque status in Gault&Millau UAE. Guests enter through a private lift and are welcomed into a buzzing space that includes an open kitchen, indoor restaurant, terrace, bar, and lounge.
Designed by Noriyoshi Muramatsu of Studio Glitt, the interiors feature extraordinary elements inspired by OTAKU culture—including a chandelier made of 2,100 toys. The menu showcases unexpected combinations that elevate traditional Japanese cuisine, from sushi and sashimi to indulgent mains and desserts. The Omakase experience, meaning “I leave it up to you,” is a guest favorite.
